In October 2022, the Parish Council signed the Armed Forces Covenant and are one of the first Parish Councils in the Peterborough area to do so.

By signing this covenant we are recognising the contributions made by all those who have or are currently serving, and we aim to promote awareness and understanding, within local communities, of the issues affecting the armed forces community in their area.

The Covenant begins a partnership with the Ministry of Defence that aims to be mutually-beneficial to signatories and those the signatories serve.  Councillor Charles Ryan will be the  council representative and by attending events and seminars this will enable  the Parish to offer insight to  signposting service for any matters related to the Armed Forces Community.
