Person of the Year 2019

Mr Nathan Minter
Nathan received an overwhelming amount of nominations for his passion, enthusiasm and commitment to ensuring that all Hamptons lakes continue to thrive. Nathan spends his free time clearing and cleaning the lakes and canals of litter and debris, has organised many learn to fish and swimming competitions and has been instrumental in establishing the Hampton Anglers Association and working alongside the Parish Council to formalise the fishing license conditions. 

Community Group of the Year 2019

Hampton Seniors led by Dianne Dearden meets every Wednesday to offer senior citizens in Hampton friendship, games and days out! The group is extremely well attended  and offers a warm welcome (and a cup of tea & biscuits)  to all newcomers.

Runner up
The Friday Night Football project offers youths the opportunity to play football alongside dedicated coaches. This is provided free of charge to all youths in Hampton and meet at the AstroTurf at Beaumont Way starting at 7pm 

Business of the Year 2019 

Chimes Café was voted as the best business in Hampton, this wonderful café, situated inside CSK Church offers Fairtrade hot refreshments, handmade cakes  and other delicious treats. The Café has an enclosed creche area which makes it a fantastic meeting area for parents as well as a quiet room for those who may wish to sit in a calmer and more serene environment. Tony and the staff were mentioned frequently within the nominations received due to their friendly approachable manner and excellent customer service.
